Can I use the solution when I use Dynamics NAV or Business Central?

Yes! You can use the solution. In fact, the module is already built into Standard NAV and Business Central because of our cooperation with Microsoft. All you need to do is register here. And link your account to NAV or BC. You can see the whole set up in our video How do i: Use the Bank Data Conversion Service. If you need help with the installation or if you would like to see a demo, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have a need for advanced payment methods, we recommend taking a look at the Small Business or Enterprise solutions.

Can I use the solution when I use Dynamics AX or 365 Operations?

Yes! You can use the solution. All you need to do is install a small module which contains the interface to our conversion service (XTendLink) in Azure Cloud. This will enable you to use the standard Banking tools to make payments through our service. If you need help with the installation or if you would like to see a demo, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have a need for advanced payment methods, we recommend taking a look at the Small Business or Enterprise solutions.

How can I delete bank accounts from your service?

To delete a bank account, you simply login to our service and remove the bank account from it. You will not get a credit note for a potentially unused period. The termination period is to the end of a subscription period.

How do I subscribe for a new bank account?

If any of your files contains new bank accounts that have not been used by you before, you will receive an email that you have used a new unknown bank account. The email contains a link where you can approve the use of the bank account. Next time you receive the bank account subscription invoice you will see the approved bank account. If you do not approve the bank account in the received email you will not be able to use the bank account with our service and you will of course not be paying a bank account subscription fee.

No! During your test phase you will be able to put your bank account subscription on hold. You simply get a demo login and we won’t bill the bank account registered to this login.

How many transactions can I have in one batch?

You may have 200 transactions in each batch. This means you create a maximum of 200 payments in each journal and you can have up to 200 transactions in each of your bank account statements. If this isn’t enough for you, we recommend having a look at the Small Business or Enterprise Solutions.

I have a license of AMC-Banking but do not have a Service Plan yet. What are the conditions to transfer my existing license to a service plan?

If you already have a license you will get a full refund of your purchased license price if you transfer your existing license to a Service Plan. That means you only have to pay the difference between your existing license value and the new plan. All existing subscriptions will be terminated as well. See below.

I expect a high uptime but it is not important to me to do payments each day.

My user’s are located in the same region. Interruptions may occure and if they do it have no big consequences to my business. If the service is up and running within an hour or even next day it is ok to me.
I do have some specific needs to my setup. F.x. I do have one or more host2host connections with my bank.
I like the SAAS concept but I need the service to be used only by me (exclusive) because of my business needs.
When I’m implementing new banks I need to test the functionality. I can create all the bank accounts that is needed and will not be billed before the actual bank account is in production.
I often change or extending my bank connection and or I need a test environment for my service as well.
I expect my service is monitored and AMC is working on a fix as soon as it is discovered if the service is unavailable.

I need to make changes to the AMC-Agreements and contracts and or my entity do have own standard contracts for software vendors.

What is the difference between the SaaS and On-prem solutions?

The SaaS is installed in an AMC controlled cloud solution (Microsoft Azure) the On-Prem solution is installed in a customer-controlled environment. Even if the customers environment is hosted in Azure this will still be defined as an OnPrem (self-hosted) solution. See also here for further details on the difference.

Why is the OnPrem Service Plan more expensive than the SaaS (Cloud-based) ones?

Our prices are based on our customers expectations for our presence. Our experience with OnPrem (Self-hosted) solutions is that they require much more presence and support from our consultancy staff than the SaaS solutions. Self-hosted solutions will always experience challenges with local network infrastructure, database, certificate servers and other backend services. All these needed services are on place with the SaaS based service and will not need installations and setup from your internal IT-department.

The reason is that AMC needs to install the cloud based software as soon as possible. AMC will also start the process with your bank(s). This part is by experience more time consuming that one would expect and it may take relative long time to do the needed bank agreements. It’s AMC advice to start up the process with the bank as soon as possible or you might be in a situation where the project needs to pause because of the bank part work.
